Design of New Structures and Restoration of Existing Structures

We understand and calculate the stability, strength, and rigidity of structures.

When analyzing a structure, we consider the effects of gravity, hydraulic, wind and seismic loads.

We will produce structural drawings, technical specifications, and an engineer’s estimate of probable construction costs, where requested.

Restoration includes site investigation, condition appraisals and construction production.

We are also available to be on-site during the construction phase helping to monitor that the knowledge, calculations, and engineering skills applied at the drawing board are effectively translated into the actual construction of your project.

Structural Investigations and Remedial Design

We have conducted forensic evaluations on hundreds of projects to determine the scope, cause and remedy of observed building distress.

With our unique and varied background, we can approach complicated problems from several different viewpoints to develop thorough and accurate solutions.

We evaluate the safety of the existing structure, define distressed or problem areas, design remedial measures and provide on-site observations to expedite the repairs.

Elevation surveys or monitoring can be performed to determine the history and extent of differential movements.

Structural Solutions for Construction Challenges

Creative thinking is required to meet large underlying constraints typically encountered on construction projects.

We are willing to take on these challenges, hone our skills and apply lessons learned to a wide range of structural challenges.

Condition Reports of Existing Structures and Rehabilitation Designs

We have assisted investors/purchasers with making crucial decisions on property purchases by reviewing the structural condition of these properties in advance of their purchase.

These projects benefit from our ability to effectively communicate our findings at many different levels to; owners, architects, other engineers, contractors, insurance professionals, attorneys and lay audiences.
